Sterilization is a process that some bacteria or viruses are killed.
The equipment that we use, are sterilized as same as it is done whole around the world.
STERILIZATION BY OTOCLAVE:
It works with pressured water vapour. Equipments are sterilized in otoclave in 15 minutes which is a very short time.
OUR WORKING SYSTEM: The equipment we use on our patients are first put in a disinfectant solution. At the end of the day, they are rinsed and dried, ready to sterilize in the otoclave. There are small equipments we use like burs, root canal materials etc.. We put these in a disinfectant solution for half an hour and sterilize them. Dentists and dental assistants use DISPOSABLE GLOVES and MASKS in order to prevent bacterial contamination. The places that are touched by working dentists and dental assistants are disinfected by SURFACE DISINFECTANTS.
